Emotional Eating Meditation
Take one moment to silence your mind... Whatever you are doing... STOP!!! Sit still for one moment. Feel your body-dive inside- and really take the time to FEEL. Feel your feet, your legs, your tummy, your breath...feel. As you focus inside your body sensation will begin to heighten. Ask yourself... 'what do you really want? Are you hungry or just feeling empty? Do you feel stress, concern, pain?' LISTEN... Feed your soul with the loving that we all need and long for. Love your inner voice that is nagging or begging or manipulating you endlessly to feed it. This voice is that of a longing child. Speak to this voice as you would a child. Comfort it. Provide loving. Ask that voice what it really needs?A walk... or a bath... a movie... or to sit and read a book? Do something loving first...if you are still hungry eat after you care and nurture yourself. Loving and feeling is the key. Take the time to FEEL to LISTEN to LOVE.... Come back to the present moment and honor yourself for taking this time to heal and listen to your body!
